Allied Consulting Engineers was established in 2004 by E. Dean Belk, PE with a vision to provide a quality service for our clients, on time and within the owner’s budget. In 2009 Scott Howard joined the firm as partner offering more project diversity and the ability to become a full service Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical firm. Over the years Allied has successfully built a team that has helped us earn a reputation as a hard working, dependable engineering company. We continually make changes to cater to our clients needs.

With other firms employees of Allied have won an IIDA Lighting Design Award and an ASHE Vista Renovation Team Design award.
Allied won an ASHRAE Chapter Award for Energy Conservation for the Mecklenburg Medical Examiner Facility. The Facility is in the process of being certified as LEED Gold with the possibility of LEED Platinum. The design was awarded 8 of 10 possible LEED points for energy conservation.
Allied maintains an SBE certification in Charlotte, and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
